Using social plug-ins via the "2-click solution"

We use social network plugins on our website via the "2-click solution." This means that no connection to the social network servers is established and consequently no data is transmitted without your explicit consent. With the standard integration of plugins, when you access pages on our website that contain a social network, a connection is established.
When such a plug-in is included, a connection is established between your computer and the servers of the social network provider, and the plug-in is displayed on the page by sending a message to your browser. In this process, both your IP address and information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider's servers. This applies regardless of whether you are registered with or logged into the social network. Even unregistered or logged-out users are subject to this transmission. If you are also logged into the Facebook social network, this information will be associated with your personal user account. When you use the plug-in functions (e.g., by clicking the button), this information will also be associated with your user account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plug-in.To ensure that you retain control over your data, we have decided to deactivate the corresponding button for the time being. You can recognise this by the greyed-out button. Without your express consent – in the form of activating the button – no connection to the social network server will be established and, consequently, no data will be transmitted. Only when you activate the button does it become active (highlighted in colour) and a direct connection to the social network's server is established. By activating the button, you give your consent to the transfer of your data to the respective social network provider. This includes the transfer of your IP address and information about which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into one or more of your social network accounts at the same time, the information collected will also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. You can only prevent this assignment by logging out of your user accounts on the social networks before visiting our website and activating the buttons. The social networks listed below are integrated using the ‘2-click function’. For more information on the scope and purpose of the collection and use of data, as well as your rights and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the linked privacy policies of the providers.

There, you also have the option of changing your settings in the privacy centre so that you can manage and protect your data processed by Google. Your data may also be transferred to the USA. An adequacy decision by the European Commission is in place for data transfers to the USA. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation. To do so, you must disable JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website, such as the interactive map display, to their full extent.

Duration of storage

After complete contract fulfillment, the data will initially be stored for the duration of the warranty period, then taking into account legal, in particular tax and commercial law retention periods, and then deleted after the expiry of the period, unless you have consented to further processing and use.

Rights of the data subject

Provided the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights under Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR: the right to information, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, and to data portability. Furthermore, under Article 21(1) of the GDPR, you have the right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as well as to processing for direct marketing purposes.
